Last reviewedHow favorite meals work
Current community references agree that feeding a Knight a preferred meal raises affinity by 1.5 and adds 0.5 to that Knight's quest score. The meal can therefore protect a relationship and provide a small edge on a difficult assignment, but it does not replace the required stats, equipment or party fit.
A discovered favorite is shown in the live game, so use this list as a planning shortcut and confirm the reaction in your current save. A rewind can erase knowledge gained after the point you return to, which makes a dated lookup useful without turning it into permanent official data.
- There are six meals in the current community lists: Galette-Saucisse, Croque-Monsieur, Préfou, Crêpe, Brizhian Butter Shortbread and Lion's Taco.
- Chester and Dulahan accept all six listed meals.
- A non-favorite meal is not reported to grant the preferred-meal affinity or score benefit.
- Meal affinity supports relationships but does not guarantee a romance scene, personal quest or ending.

Use the meal opportunity well
- Check which Knights are present and available before committing the meal.
- Prioritize a Knight whose affinity is at risk or whose next quest needs a small score improvement.
- Choose a consensus favorite from the list and confirm the positive reaction in the live game.
- Record the discovered preference in your save notes before using time rewind.
- Treat the score bonus as support for a sound assignment, not as a way to rescue a badly matched party.
Keep community meal data current
Neoseeker and the Steam Community guide agree on the Knight list used here. Raider King's current roster supplies a third cross-check and exposes the Edith disagreement instead of hiding it. The official store confirms the broader Knight, quest and relationship systems, but it does not publish this favorite-meal table.
If a patch changes a preference or bonus, the live reaction takes priority. Report the game version, Knight, meal and observed result so the disputed entry can be corrected without copying an undated table forward.
Verification boundary
What still needs live verification
The meal roster and exact bonuses are current community findings rather than a publisher-maintained table. Recheck them after patches and verify any disputed preference in the live build.
Official descriptions establish stable scope. Interface paths, balance, values, rewards, schedules, and version-specific behavior must still be checked in the current game build.
